Home Grown New York Peaches-Peachy Sunday Aug 14th!

You'll love our beautiful fresh and juicy peaches at Gro-Moore Farms in Henrietta, New YorkEach peach is a sweet treat at Gro-Moore Farms. During this magical season, delicious homegrown peaches are coming in straight from the farm every day at Gro-Moore Farms!

You'll want to be sure to come to the Peachy Sunday Event, August 14th, from Noon to 4 p.m. at Gro-Moore Farms! There will be a special sampling time, so you can get your first juicy taste of this season’s homegrown peaches. This event is held at Gro-Moore Farm Market on East Henrietta Road, in front of the Dome Center. This free sampling time is open to the entire public.

Gro-Moore Farms offers samples of their fresh baked peach pie along with wonderful mixes for peach crisp, cobbler, scones and muffins. And remember to taste Gro-Moore Farms’ peach preserves and syrups. We even offer some varieties with no added sugar for those trying to monitor their sugar intake.

Fresh homegrown peaches contain no fat, are sodium-free and cholesterol-free. These attributes make them welcome additions to a heart-healthy lifestyle. They are a great source of vitamin C and contain other important vitamins and minerals, including potassium, vitamin A, and peaches provide beneficial fiber.

“People think of the state of Georgia because they are the peach state, but I give you my word, I’d take a fresh homegrown peach from right here over one of theirs. Of course, our season is much shorter, so you have to come in sooner rather than later,” notes owner Jack Moore.

For other special Sundays, you may want to print our Summer Tasting Schedule so you have the list right on the fridge!
